Fair Dealing Application Guides for Copying at York

The Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC) has developed a series of application documents that provide guidance on the application of their "Fair Dealing Policy for Universities" to various copying practices typically undertaken by a university.

Review these documents to make fair dealing assessments for your copying at York University. If you have any questions or require assistance with your decisions in copying or posting, contact York University’s Copyright Office at copy@yorku.ca.
