2023-24 Copyright Info Sessions

York’s Copyright Support Office provides Copyright services to ALL faculty and administrative members at York University. Summer information sessions are being offered across the Keele and Glendon Campuses. 2023 sessions will be delivered online.

For all sessions simply email copy@yorku.ca to register. Information on the scheduled Zoom meeting will be emailed to you in advance of the session.

Copyright Sessions will focus on copyright practices at York and the options available to instructors for their course materials whether they choose to use textbooks and course packs or digital resources on their Learning Management Systems (LMS). These include eResources from the York Libraries, Fair Dealing, Public Domain, content licensed under Creative Commons and Open Access,  Internet content, Instructor created content and obtaining permissions from rights holders.
